About MaxxLook

MaxxLook is a personal beauty and grooming coach for adults aged 18 and older. It analyzes photos of your face and gives you an overall score, area scores, a plan, progress tracking, Try On renderings, and answers from Ask Maxx, our AI assistant. The service is informational and appearance focused; it is not medical or dermatological advice and does not diagnose any condition.

Scores and percentiles

Your overall score, area scores, and percentile are produced automatically from measurements of your photos and compared with reference data. A percentile compares your overall score with other MaxxLook members in your reference group, and is shown only when that group is large enough. Scores can vary with lighting, angle, and expression. They describe measurements of a photo; they are not a judgment of your worth, your health, or how any person sees you, and you should not rely on them for any decision beyond your own styling and grooming choices.

Ask Maxx

Ask Maxx replies are generated by an AI model from your results, profile, and plan. They are general styling, grooming, and skin-care guidance and can be incomplete or wrong. They are not medical, dermatological, or other professional advice, and Ask Maxx does not recommend procedures, prescriptions, or treatments. For anything that concerns your health or skin condition, talk to a qualified professional.

Try On

Try On renderings are images generated by an AI model from your photo. They are illustrations of a look, not a prediction or promise of how you will look after any haircut, product, or service, and they may contain inaccuracies. Try On needs a separate permission, described in our Privacy Policy. Use Try On only with photos of yourself, and do not use renderings to impersonate or mislead anyone.

Products and links

Product suggestions link to retailers' own websites. We do not sell those products; prices, availability, and purchases are between you and the retailer and are governed by its terms. Check ingredients and patch-test new skin-care products.

Membership subscription

Your first scan and its overview — your overall score, percentile when available, area scores, and the names of your top three opportunities — are free. The MaxxLook Membership is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. It includes the detailed analysis for every area, your opportunities and plan, progress tracking and re-scans, weekly skin tracking, Ask Maxx, and Try On renderings. The current price and localized currency are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.

Acceptable use

You must provide accurate account information, keep your account secure, and use the service lawfully. You may not attempt to access another person's account, interfere with the service, submit photographs of anyone other than yourself, or try to make Ask Maxx or Try On produce content that is harmful, sexual, or meant to deceive.

Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, secure, and delete account information, photographs, the measurements and scores derived from them, Ask Maxx messages, and Try On renderings, including which service providers receive them.
