Ask Maxx, an assistant grounded in your results
Ask Maxx is the assistant inside MaxxLook. It answers questions about your look using your own scorecard, area summaries, plan, goals and profile answers. Today its replies come from fixed templates built on your measurements; replies written by an AI model are not switched on yet. It never receives your photos, age, gender or ethnicity, it is not allowed to state a score or percentile that isn’t in your results, and it is never a human stylist.
What Ask Maxx can help with
- Whether a look suits you, for example “Would curtain bangs suit me?”, answered from your own proportions.
- What to try first, and how to test it.
- Why a score is what it is, and what drives it.
- Looks you can open in Try On.

The guardrails
- No invented scores. It may not state a score, percentile or rating that isn’t in your own results, and a reply that does is thrown away.
- No verdicts. No hot-or-not ratings, and no comparisons with celebrities or any named person. Asking to be rated gets your scores and what drives them.
- Medical and distress questions. Questions recognized as medical, or as a sign of distress, get a fixed, human-written response instead of a generated reply.
- Bounded advice. It is designed to stick to styling experiments and basic skin-care habits, not procedures or prescriptions.
- Templates first. Today every reply comes from fixed templates built on your measurements. Once model-written replies are switched on, the templates remain the fallback whenever the model is unavailable.
Who is answering
Software is answering, never a human stylist, and MaxxLook never implies otherwise. Today replies are assembled from fixed templates and your own results. When replies written by an outside AI model are switched on, the privacy policy will name the provider and what it receives, and the transparency page explains the design.
