Common questions

Why can't the camera open?

maxxlook requires both your explicit biometric-processing consent and iOS camera permission. You can review camera permission in iPhone Settings → Apps → maxxlook → Camera. If you withdrew biometric consent in maxxlook, the app will ask you to review the processing details before any camera feature becomes available again.

What happens to skin-check photos?

A skin-check photo is measured server-side and then discarded. It is not stored. maxxlook keeps only the resulting measurements so you can see changes over time.

How do I withdraw biometric consent?

Open maxxlook, go to Settings, and choose Withdraw biometric consent. Camera-backed features lock immediately. Withdrawing consent does not delete existing account data; use Delete account for that.

How do I export or delete my data?

Open Settings in the app. Data export prepares a copy of your account information. Delete account disables access immediately and schedules permanent deletion of account data within 30 days.

Is maxxlook medical advice?

No. maxxlook's measurements and reports are not medical or dermatological assessments and cannot diagnose a condition. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
